Kuala Lumpur, more commonly known as KL is the place I grew up and have spend 4 years of my life in University. Many of my friends are there and I have shared dreams with many great young people in this vibrant and beautiful city of Malaysia.

As the capital, it is the most modern and developed city in the country. Today we chose to spend time and have a leisure walk in one of the busiest malls in KL - The Mid Valley Megamall.

They serve great ramen at Ippudo, The Gardens Mid Valley, portion is just nice and very good value for money. :)

Though it is a very short visit, family is still very important and we make time to visit the people who often take care of me when I was still a student in University.

Because Malaysians are very famous for their hospitality, we often gather together for a great meal. And we eat to our heart's content. That's what we Malaysians are good at, and trust us. Good food makes happy people.

This is what a typical Chinese meal in Malaysia - and a pretty scrumptious one. Other times, when in KL you must not miss out Dim Sum or Bak Kut Teh a good alternative for chinese style breakfast. Other days for lunch it would be Chicken Rice, Pan Mee. And I remember hunting for KL style Hokkien Mee for dinner. Malaysia will always live up to it's name as a Food Heaven, if you do not feel like eating chinese food, there's always our Malaysian Mamak style, Indian style and not to forget a variety of International selection (too much for me to name).

And when your friends are in town but are stuck in the Airport, recommend a good plate of Char Koay Teow. If your friends have not tried Si Ham ( Malay translation: kerang or English translation: deshelled blood cockles) - make sure they try them.

Nonetheless, not to help promote for free. But freshly made "kaya butter toast" with "teh tarik" is one of my personal favourite. If you are in town, be sure to try out some Roti (Roti Canai, Roti Telur, Roti Pisang, Roti Tisu) and some Banana Leaf Rice!

Throwback posts to myBurgerlab, my mother store. They are not only a burger store, they are like my home and my family. Not only they serve great burgers, the staff are amazingly young and geeky! Meet my fellow friend and frisbee mate - Zi Ying!

Nonetheless, if you're stranded in the airport and wondering what to eat. Try out some nasi lemak. :)
Cheers, Till I see you again! Jumpa Lagi!
